Job Description

That’s why our cleaners work to a rigorous, bespoke specification for cleaning across all sectors, and we regularly add to our cleaning supply with the latest products on the market, to save our clients time and money.

Dovetail Group’s dedicated cleaning division work across all sectors in the commercial cleaning industry. We are recruiting for Cleaning Operatives to join our Cleaning and Facilities Department.

This will involve a mixture of working at offices and Communal areas on behalf of the UK’s leading property management companies and working at offices and customer service facilities across The Midlands Canal Network.

Duties include:

  • Undertake all aspects of general daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping and toilet/washroom facilities.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning materials as required in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Providing the highest level of service in line with the clients’ specifications.
  • Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines and equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift, reporting any defects to your Line Manager.
  • Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations.
  • Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Line Manager.

Basic cleaning skills needed – but full training will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence is required.
  • Own transport is required to get to our yard (B92 0AS) then use our Dovetail, fully equipped cleaning vans, to commute across The Midlands throughout the day.
  • Working in a team of cleaners, split into teams of 2.
  • Hours are Monday – Friday: 7am – 2:30pm with half an hour break totalling to 35 hours per week.
  • £9.50 per hour.
